Quality Inn Brownsville

The good, the bad and the ugly The ugly...not much really The bad .. breakfast sucked.. cold coffee, breakfast selection is poor..not enough of anything fruits, bread, evrything cold.. no eggs and sausage like other Quality inns The good.. parking and location, it was clean inside the rooms and no insects, TV selection is decent, no loud noises, solid motel Overall, excellent motel with decent amenities and super clean rooms, breakfast sucks .. especially the coffee... I want my damn hot coffee!!!

With prices so high every where else and abnb with their ridiculous service fees we found this room very roomy and accommodating. There were tile floors which were a welcome plus. The shower was huge. The bed was comfortable. Would stay again.

This Quality Inn is one of the best I've seen. The rooms have all been remodeled and are very clean. Every room has a large flat screen, fridge, microwave, iron and board, coffee maker and hairdryer in it. The AC works in every room and it does get cold! Several times I've had to turn it off for a bit to warm up. They do have a pool, onsite laundry, vending machine and morning breakfast. The laundry machines could use some work, as the dryer requires 4 full cycles to completely dry a load of clothes. Washer works fine. I can't speak to how good breakfast is, I don't usually eat breakfast, but it does smell good. There isn't much by way of walkabout, but it's Brownsville, there are plenty of Uber and Lyft running about. There is a liquor store and a gas station/bait shop across the street if you need a quick bite or drink. The bait shop has really good breakfast burritos. Me and a bunch of guys on my crew did try those once and were very impressed.

Very rude manager , the cashier was unattended and I thought ringing the bell was what I was supposed to do then I got curious about what was on the bottom of the bell but the manager sent her daughter to come tell me I’m being annoying even though there was nobody at the register and I was just waiting for my deposit even when I got there in the beginning she was rude and not considerate at all it was my first and last time staying at quality in because I refuse to pay 300 $ and still get a rude customer service like the manager Kay I understand if people don’t have a good day but personally I don’t think that’s the proper way to talk to a customer as my first experience there I will never go back because of Kay no disrespect but the passive aggressive attitude is not something should be tolerating for 300$ personal opinion very nice room but rude employees especially the manager Kay smh I never meant to bother because I understand she was in the restroom but the attitude was unnecessary I personally think she should get replaced with someone who comprehends that some people like me have never been there and after that service never again Kay

This was by far one of the best hotels I have stayed at! They were very friendly. I had a issue with my job and the front desk graciously helped me out! The room was very clean. They had hot and cold breakfast. Housekeeping never knocked on my door or attempted to come in my room to clean it. They did not bother me before checkout time. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that is in the area!!

Sadly,I had to attend a funeral Thanksgiving weekend. I chose this hotel because of the availability and its convenience to where I needed to be. When I first drove up to the Hotel. I was not impressed with the outside look of the hotel. I was though, greeted by a very nice attendant in the tiny lobby. Y'a the room was huge and very clean! And it served a free breakfast that was actually very decent! Waffles, eggs, etc... No luxury here,but good service and clean room!

Everything was great. The room was very clean. It even has a refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast was great, too. They had lots of choices, including waffles, scrambled eggs, and bacon. My only criticism would be the stair case on the back side of the building. The last step up to the 2nd floor landing has a much wider step up. Most likely, the stairs had to be replaced at some point. I would maybe mark it with some yellow warning paint to warn guests.

I’ve stayed in similar inns in the area and this has been the best so far. VERY very clean, friendly staff, nice pool.
